Co-Vid 19 Health & Safety

Spread the love

In light of the recent Co-Vid 19 outbreak, the band will be strictly following health authority advice and continue to implement social distancing measures regarding the usage of any microphone equipment on stage.

No microphone equipment will be provided or allowed to be used by any member of the venue or public in order to make public announcements.

Microphone sanitizing is only be carried out for the bands own use and will not be in place for the public; due to the lengthy process of cleansing and dismantling of the equipment.

If any member of the venue or public requests to make an announcement, the band will happily relay their message to the audience.

In the case where this may not be appropriate, the announcer will have to provide their own microphone equipment, the band will happily provide the cable to plug into the (PA) public announcement system.

Even after the Co-Vid 19 situation subsides, we will still continue to follow these precautions to also stop the spread of common cold viruses, including strep throat conditions.

We must all bear in mind that this is a two way situation, and that it is best to air on the side of caution.

Latest update:
With the current rollout of vaccinations, the band have initially had their first jab’s and hopefully the second round of jab’s will be finalized prior to venue’s opening, with this in mind; the band are looking for to getting back to gigging in a safer environment.
